Designed with community in mind

The master plan for Harvest at Blue Ridge was crafted with community at its heart. It offers ample space for community gathering, from its vibrant neighborhood center to the green spaces tying the neighborhood together. The concept was informed by community input - neighbors, nearby businesses, and local stakeholders were all given a voice through our design charrette process.

Natural beauty & common amenities

Harvest at Blue Ridge is designed around common amenities which will allow residents and visitors to enjoy the property’s breathtaking natural beauty. The existing pond will be rehabilitated and upfitted for recreation. Pocket parks and courts are found throughout the community, offering ample gathering space for residents and visitors. A vibrant neighborhood center at the front of the property will provide residents a unique retail experience within the historic Murray Cider Co. structures.

A cohesive community, crafted to respect existing neighbors

The neighborhood zones of Harvest at Blue Ridge have been designed to conform to Botetourt County’s TND Ordinance. The development is split into four categories - a mixed-use, higher density core, a lower density edge area, an even lower density edge area bordering the Peach Tree subdivision, and a workplace area along Alt. 220.

Built to a livable scale

The infrastructure of Harvest at Blue Ridge is designed to lay lightly upon the land and to facilitate pleasant travel throughout the neighborhood. This development will avoid mass grading and uses green fingers rather than detention ponds for its storm water management. Pedestrian pathways, safe streets, and attractive streetscapes allow for ease-of-travel, whether by foot, bicycle or vehicle.
